Valley Forge dreamin'...

...on a 75 degree, no humidity day...

Hello MTV, and Welcome to my crib...

View from the top of Valley Forge. The descent back into the valley was enjoyable... (wink, wink...)

The National Memorial Arch in the center of the Park.

COBBLES!!!!!!!!

And when the big orange sign says, "Paving Crew Ahead : Wet Tar" pay attention. The shit is everywhere. It took me 20 solid minutes to get it off ME. Goof Off works well BTW! Not cleaning the bike until I get home. It'll probably flare my bicycle OCD something fierce, but I just don't have the facilities to affect a proper lick and rub here.

It was an absolutely perfect day. 3 hours...51 miles...got some sun (and tar).

Different loop tomorrow...

Purdy.

I don't know how it works, but it does without scoring the clear coat or special cleaners. Magic Eraser

There are NO flat roads here. Either up, or down.

I'll try the Magic Eraser. I may just wait until I get home and use the Clean Streak. I know that'll take it off.

We took the cross bikes down the grass hill directly to your left in the 'top of valley forge' picture. Now that's an exciting descent

We used to sled down that hill in high school. The one across from Washington's Chapel is lightning fast on a tube as well...
