#@*%*!$#*@%&#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So last night, I decide to be a good doggie daddy, and give our poor, aged JRT a bath.  Upon lifting her boney, 14 pound body from the tub, I step on an errant (see also : left on the floor by the Boss) baby bath toy.  I slip, and catch myself.  No problems, right?
Oh yeah, I twisted my knee...AGAIN.  FUUUUUUUUUUUU...............!  Swollen, tender, sore, stiff...I can't find my thesaurus, so those words will have to suffice.
I'm strapped up with the finest tape that KT Tape produces, and have made an appointment to see the Surgeon about the knee.  There's a definite injury in there now...
Did I say FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.............! a moment ago.  Oh, I did?  OK....

My other duties don't stop, so I guess I'm gimping around in pain for the foreseeable future.  Super.

Where's the cardboard Johan Bruyneel cutout?  Nice short dresses on the podium girls too!

Have people not learned that Hinault will beat you if you hop on the podium?

Stellar ride by Tejay.  Kid is a stud.  Outpaced his 'team leader' with absolutely no support.

And Sagan.  Another horse.  First Tour...Maillot Vert.  Nice work young man!  And check that chainring!  It's not a 53!  Kudos to Cannondale too, for actually taking the time to use the Pantone color guide to accurately match the greens...unlike Pinarello, who just threw some Ferrari Fly Yellow on Wiggo's Dogma.

Don't know what to do about riding/exercise?  Anybody have a Schwinn AirDyne?  Lifting weights is out, as muscle memory is a cruel mistress.  I really don't need to get any bigger.  I guess a radical change in diet is on the horizon.  Less calories out means less calories in...dammit...

Hope you have a better day than me!

My knee has been (what you said) since the Meet Your Maker ride May 28th. I guess I'm gonna submit myself to examination by some Medical M***. Not looking forward to it at all.
Good luck.
Peace.

I'll probably ride the trainer easy a couple of days ago, to keep both the rust, and fat away, but it looks like riding of any consequence is out for a while...

Hope your prognosis is better than mine is likely to be...
