Hey, it could be 105!!

No ridey last night, as it was raining.  Grumblings have been heard about the weather being damp over the last few days. Seriously?
We live in the closest approximate representation of Southeast Asia, or Central South America, and folks are whinging about 80 and drizzle?  Oy...

Can't ride today either, as DSS frowns upon leaving children alone for extended periods of time.

The CX bike will get the call tomorrow morning, rain or shine. Gotta get the legs going around.

TVH and Il Prof both got new wheels, and they are pretty damn nice. One build was the standard set up with Novatec hubs, while the other was the 'Mullet' set up with White Industries T11 hubs.
The 'Mullet' you ask? 34mm front/52mm rear hoops. Business in front...party in the rear.
And be very clear, the guys at November don't simply open the catalog from Gigantex, and pick out a hoop they like.
The were integral in the development of the Rail rim every step of the way, from the shape, to the lay-up of the carbon. Yeah...they were...
Funny that rims from the big manufacturers are now mimicking the shape and depths, huh? (November Rails were available first, FYI.)
They also test their wheels...
Both in the tunnel, and on the road...

Read thru their blog for how they tested for temperature build-up & heat dissipation. Practical testing...
Why am I extolling their virtues? Huh? I don't even have a set....
Maybe it's because I get a little tired of hearing people crap on products they've never seen, held in their hands, nor ridden. Hell, I'll guarantee that SOME in this town, who sell 17 different kinds of carbon wheels, haven't even HEARD of November.

Moving on...

I know that "scrambler" type motos should be light, with small/medium displacement engines, but this Moto Guzzi proves that sometimes, you just need a bigger hammer.

Carbon Fiber news.

Yes, there is such a thing. Interesting that Cygnet is moving their HQ to SC.

Lunch is over. Get back to work!  It's Friday.
