Tragic

http://m.staugustine.com/news/local-news/2011-04-13/cyclist-killed-hit-and-run

Bryan Wrigley was killed by a hit and run driver yesterday while at college in St. Augustine, Florida. It seems he was riding alone on a wide-open, flat stretch of road, and was struck from behind.
Bryan was a TNWC regular, and a super nice guy. He was just 23 years old...

When you hit your knees tonight, regardless of what, or who, you may be praying to, add something in there for Bryan and his family.

Bryan was a great guy.He did alot of volunteer work with Special Olympics and he wanted to go into pediatric physical therapy to work with disabled or injured children. I feel very lucky that I got to know him. He set the bar high for all of us. prayers to his family

Can't say that I knew him well, but it just hits pretty close to home when it's someone that you've ridden with and who has so many friends in the group. To be honest, it weighed a bit heavy on my mind all day yesterday and this morning on my ride. Completely senseless and terrible. I guess there's a bigger plan for him.
Unfortunately, cyclists getting hit by cars in that part of Northern Florida is NOT a rare occurence. Things need to change...
